Accountable for the entire credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debts losses.
Accounts Receivable
Responsibilities:
Assist the branch AR Specialists in creating new customer accounts in the system, as needed Respond to all Credit References that are requested for all branches Mange the Credit App inbox for all branches to ensure all required paperwork is received and completed in its entirety in order to process for credit approval Work daily with all branch sales reps, managers, CSR's, Branch and Regional Managers to establish credit and terms for new customers Analyze requests for credit and assign credit lines in accordance with established guidelines and authority up to $20,000 for all branches Contact trade references and run Experian and D&B reports for credit application approval Identify and mange marginal/high risk established customer for determination of terms & credit limits changes Maintain complete and accurate credit files and records of all accounts Maintain credit application files, including tax forms, credit reports, and credit applications Adhere to established credit policies and procedures and changes requested by management Meet or exceed turnaround times on application approvals set forth by management Request credit references for credit approval and follow-up accordingly, both by email and phone Customer Relations

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
